VERTICAL PLUS™ PROGRAM


WHAT IS VERTICAL PLUS™?

The Vertical Plus is a year-round frequent visitor program that allows you to accumulate vertical feet each day that you ski or ride at Northstar-at-Tahoe™ Resort or Sierra-at-Tahoe® Resort in the winter and golf or bike at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort in the summer.  Members accrue feet year-round for expenditures throughout the resorts earning awards.  Members also enjoy discounts, convenience of electronic ticketing and members' only lift lines.  

 

EARNING VERTICAL FEET

WINTER

  • For each day your lift ticket or pass is scanned, members will receive 15,000 vertical feet.
  • The top five qualifying* members who ski the most days at both Northstar®  Resort & Sierra™ Resort will receive a free season pass for next season.
  • Receive a bonus 10,000 feet and a Monday - Friday, non-holiday lift ticket voucher with membership purchase.

All members are limited to 500,000 vertical feet earned through skiing or riding that is redeemable for awards.  However, vertical feet earned through autocharge is unlimited for award redemption. 

SUMMER

  • For each day golfing or mountain biking at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, members will receive 10,000 vertical feet.

ANYTIME

  • Members accrue 1,000 feet for every $1 spent throughout Sierra and Northstar-at-Tahoe Resorts - see locations.  (Tickets, passes, gift cards, and group sale purchases are excluded from the resort autocharge feet accrual.)

The Vertical Plus membership runs from October 1-September 30 annually.  Any feet accrued during the year through autocharge or through ski, snowboard, golf or mountain biking must be done through September 30 and redemption of feet must occur no later than November 30. 



*Complimentary passes and memberships from the previous season are eliminated from Top 5 eligibility.  Also excluded are employee discount programs and complimentary daily ticket members. The number of qualifying days begins the first day of the winter ski/ride season and/or the first day the Vertical Plus membership is activated.  Days are counted on a per season basis and do not carry into the next season.  A purchased Vertical Plus membership is necessary in order to qualify for the free pass.
